These terms govern the use of our website and the enrolment in courses offered by Wawasan AI. Please read them carefully before proceeding with an enrolment or submitting an enquiry.
1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms have the meanings given below.
- "Agreement" means these Terms and Conditions as updated from time to time.
- "Service" means the online AI development courses and related materials offered by Wawasan AI.
- "We," "Us," "Our" refers to Wawasan AI, Suite 21-A, The Pinnacle, Persiaran Lagoon, 47500 Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia.
- "You," "User" refers to any person who visits our website or enrols in a course.
- "Content" means all course materials, text, video, notebooks, assessments, and other learning resources we provide.
- "Enrolment" means a confirmed registration in a course following receipt of payment.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using our website or completing a course enrolment, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or enrol in a course.
You confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. If you are enrolling on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organisation.
3. Service Description
Wawasan AI offers structured online courses in AI development, delivered through reading materials, guided notebooks, and scheduled office hours. Current courses include a Reinforcement Learning Module (RM 1,400), an AI Ethics and Safety Course (RM 1,700), and a Data Pipeline Engineering Course (RM 2,100).
Courses are available to learners based in Malaysia and internationally, subject to applicable law. We reserve the right to modify course content, structure, or scheduling where necessary, and will provide reasonable notice of significant changes to enrolled learners.
4. Enrolment and Accounts
Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of full payment. You are responsible for providing accurate information at the time of enrolment and for keeping your account credentials secure. You must not share access to course materials with third parties.
We may suspend or terminate access where we have reason to believe that account credentials are being shared or misused.
5. User Responsibilities
Acceptable Use
You agree to use our website and course materials only for lawful purposes and in accordance with this Agreement.
Prohibited Activities
- Reproducing, distributing, or selling any part of our course content without written permission
- Using course materials to develop competing products or services
- Attempting to gain unauthorised access to any part of our systems
- Submitting false or misleading information in enrolment or enquiry forms
- Any conduct that disrupts the learning environment for other participants
Academic Integrity
Where courses include assessed components, you agree to complete them through your own genuine effort. Submissions that misrepresent your understanding may result in access being suspended without refund.
6. Intellectual Property
All course content, materials, and resources are the intellectual property of Wawasan AI or our licensors. You are granted a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to access and use the materials for your individual learning during the period of your enrolment.
This licence does not permit redistribution, reproduction for commercial purposes, or use of materials in any derivative work without our prior written consent.
7. Payment and Refunds
Fees
Course fees are stated in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are payable in full prior to enrolment confirmation. All fees are inclusive of applicable taxes.
Refund Policy
- A full refund is available if a withdrawal request is received at least 7 days before the course start date
- A 50% refund is available if a withdrawal request is received within 3 days of the course start date
- No refund is available after the first week of course access has elapsed
- Refund requests should be directed to [email protected] with your enrolment reference
We reserve the right to cancel a course intake if the minimum enrolment number is not reached. In that event, a full refund will be issued within 10 working days.
8. Course-Specific Terms
- Course access is provided for a fixed period communicated at enrolment; access is not indefinite
- Certificates of completion, where issued, are valid as evidence of participation and are not academic qualifications
- Office hours and live sessions are offered as scheduled and may occasionally be rescheduled with reasonable notice
- We encourage learners to bring their own work to office hours; however, we do not guarantee specific outcomes from participation
9. Disclaimers
Our courses are provided in good faith and with care, but we make no representations about specific outcomes that any learner will achieve. Results depend on individual effort, background, and application.
Our website and materials are provided on an "as available" basis. We do not warrant that access will be uninterrupted or entirely error-free, though we take reasonable steps to ensure reliability.
Course content is educational in nature and does not constitute professional, legal, or regulatory advice.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, our total liability to you in connection with any course or use of our website shall not exceed the fee paid by you for the relevant course.
We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of our services, including loss of income, loss of data, or loss of opportunity.
Nothing in this Agreement limits our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Wawasan AI harmless from any claim, loss, or expense arising from your breach of this Agreement, your misuse of our materials, or any infringement of third-party rights attributable to your conduct.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to our courses or website if you breach these Terms, with or without prior notice depending on the seriousness of the breach. Where termination is due to a breach on your part, no refund will be due.
You may cancel your enrolment at any time in accordance with the refund policy set out in Section 7. Sections 6, 9, 10, 11, and 13 survive termination.
13. Dispute Resolution
This Agreement is governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising under or in connection with it shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
Before initiating formal proceedings, we ask that you contact us at [email protected] to seek an informal resolution. We will respond within 10 working days with a view to reaching a fair outcome.
14. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement. This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and us in respect of its subject matter.
- Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
- Waiver. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it subsequently.
- Assignment. You may not assign your rights or obligations under this Agreement without our prior consent.
- Notices. Formal notices should be sent in writing to the address or email in Section 16.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be published with a new "Last Updated" date. For enrolled learners, we will communicate material changes by email. Continued use of our services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
